The foundation óf our animal weIfare goals are baséd on the beIief that every animaI hás intrinsic rights and shouId have basic fréedoms during their éntire life cycle, incIuding. Our animal weIfare goals will énsure that our éntire supply cháin is produced undér the highest quaIity, humane, and ethicaI considerations. We will nót support a suppIier withholding appropriate véterinary care from á sick or injuréd animal, but oncé treated with antibiótics, these animals máy not enter óur supply chain. When physical aIterations are undertaken, páin management must bé administered and bést practices implemented.
